The ICHNOS collection is an exploration of the forces that shape form, spirit, and memory. Each piece serves as an indelible trace in a continuous journey of material transformation—from the initial rupture to the final solidification.

The Path of Matter
The Birth: It all begins with RIGMA (Rupture), the violent yet creative trace of matter opening to give birth to something new.
The Entity: ANIMA (Soul) rises as the spiritual imprint of a totemic form, while DIALOGOS (Dialogue) records the traces of communication between different fields and symbols.
Flow and Tension: KYMA (Wave) leaves the trace of water and motion, while FRACTURE reveals the luminous cracks that connect the interior with the exterior.
The Witness: GRAPHÉ (Script) acts as the ultimate witness, bearing the etched signs of an archaic language.
Transmutation: PNEUMA (Breath/Spirit) constitutes the ethereal trace of fire through the Obvara technique, leading to ESTIA (Hearth), the primal imprint of the need for shelter.
The Conclusion: The journey culminates with GALENE (Serenity), the trace of absolute balance, and PETRA (Stone), the moment when experience solidifies into an eternal, weathered rock.

The Process: The Trace of Creation
Creation begins with an act of surrender to the material. Clay, as a primordial substance, carries its own resistance and memory. My process is a constant dialogue with the elements of nature: the earth being molded, the water that provides flow, and, above all, the fire.Utilizing techniques such as Raku and Obvara, I seek the unpredictable. The moment the glowing object is immersed in the organic mixture (Obvara) or is abruptly exposed to the air, is the moment the work acquires its own “voice.” The random spots, the cracks, and the textures reminiscent of volcanic stone or ancient fossils, are not decorative elements. They are the “scars” and the testimonies of an intense, almost ritualistic birth.
I do not strive for the perfect form, but for the authenticity of the trace. Each work is an attempt to freeze time upon a fold or within an engraving, transforming the ephemeral nature of creation into a permanent, earthly presence.
