With my hands in the dirt in this magical part of Greece, in Preveza, in Kokkinopilos, where the rains have turned this low reddish plateau into a changing landscape of rolling hills and small ravines, I remembered the reason why I create – to take some of the beauty of the land and make it into art.
My hands connect me to something deeper, to Mother Earth herself.
